1. magnetic beads
Murata magnetic beads belong to EMI noise element and also belong to noise filter. Its scientific name is sheet ferrite magnetic beads. Its effect is equivalent to that of resistance and inductance connected in series in the circuit. The resistance and inductance value are changed by the frequency of the circuit. When high frequency passes through, it shows resistance, thus playing the role of filtering high frequency filter.
The main raw material for the production of Murata magnetic beads is ferrite, and the main component is iron-magnesium alloy or iron-nickel alloy, which is grey-black in appearance.
The high frequency signal in the circuit consumes a lot of high frequency signal when it passes through ferrite. It is precisely because of the high frequency characteristic of ferrite that magnetic beads play the role of resisting high frequency and low frequency in the circuit.
2. characteristic parameters of magnetic beads
(1) DC Resistance (mohm): The resistance value of the bead when DC current passes through it.
(2) Rated Current (mA): Indicates the maximum allowable current of magnetic beads in normal operation.
(3) Impedance [Z]@100MHz (ohm): This refers to AC impedance.
(4) Impedance-frequency characteristic: Describe the curve of impedance varying with frequency.
(5) Resistance-Frequency Characteristics: Describing the Curve of Resistance Variation with Frequency
(6) Inductance-frequency characteristics: describing the curve of inductance changing with frequency
