The Murata Production Institute has expanded the LQW 32FT series product line-up suitable for vehicular PoC*1 circuit.
The product has the characteristics of wide band and high impedance. Its inductance is 47 uH/500 mA, 22 uH/550 mA, and 1 2100 size (3.2 x 2.5 m m) of 10 uH/500 mA (ambient temperature 85 C) have been released. In order to support the further high-speed and high-current development of vehicle-borne PoC interface signals, we have added 4.7 uH/850 mA, 3.3 uH/950 mA, 2.7 uH/975 mA and 2.2 uH/1000 mA. Production starts in January 2019 and samples are available.
PoC is widely used in SerDes*2 devices in vehicle applications. It transmits video data and power through a single coaxial cable, so it can reduce weight.
So far, PoC has to use multiple sensors with large inductance and small inductance to process the broadband signal in the circuit, and maintain high impedance in the broadband to isolate the signal and power supply. The LQW 32FT series can reduce the number of inductors needed at present, help to miniaturize the whole system, save space and reduce the total DC impedance.
