It should be noted that the amount of solder used cannot be too little or too much. If the amount of solder is too low, it will produce a lack of strength of the weld. If the amount of solder is too much, it will cause the phenomenon of tin bridge.

Reference procedure for welding TZS2/TZY2/TZV2/TZC3/TZW4 series chip capacitors
Step 1: pre welding of the positive terminal
(Note)
When the solder is supplied, the height of the solder is about half of the terminal height, and do not use too much solder.
If too much solder, flux may penetrate into the internal tuning capacitor.
Step 2: Preheating of solder
(Note)
The iron head at the terminal and the supply of solder and pad are fully preheated.
Preheat is not sufficient will lead to failure of the welding.
Step 3: welding terminal
(Note)
The trimmer capacitors towarding the solder iron head sliding and heating on the positive terminal (the total heating time in 3 seconds).
At this time, will the soldering iron head aligned perpendicular to the positive terminal of the soldering iron head contact to the terminal. Do not make the iron head deep into the trimmer capacitors in vivo. Do not supply any additional solder.
Step 4: cooling
(Note)
The trimming capacitor is fixed and cooled until the solder has solidified.
If the capacitor is moved before the solder is solidified, the solder dislocation will occur.
Step 5: welding negative terminal
(Note)
The iron head vertically aligned negative terminal of the iron head contact terminals. Preheat the terminals and pads, and then put the solder wire.
According to the above steps 1 and 3 shows the operation, pay attention to the amount of solder used not too much.
If the solder is too much, it may result in the failure of the tuning capacitor.
